A handrail is often the difference between a step being manageable and a step being a fall risk. We install safety handrails for exterior stairs, existing concrete or wood ramps, interior stairways, front stoops, decks, and raised platforms — both as standalone installations and as part of a full ramp project.
Our handrails are aluminum, powder-coated, graspable in diameter (conforming to Ontario Building Code), and mounted with structural brackets that go into masonry, concrete, or wood framing. We offer wall-mounted rails, post-mounted rails, and code-required two-sided railing for commercial ramps and public buildings.
For homeowners, a single graspable handrail on one side of a front step can eliminate a significant fall risk for elderly family members or those recovering from surgery. For commercial properties and public buildings, we ensure compliance with AODA and the Ontario Building Code — the right height, the right extension beyond the top and bottom risers, and the right clearance from the wall.
